"Podstacle: One of my greatest fascinations are the "viral trend" phenomena. When you explore the mechanics of herd psychology, you will find a tipping point where individual action is replaced with subjugation. During a recent viral trend, participants would disburse concentrated packets of laundry detergent into their mouths. In a show of endurance, the objective was to see how long you could last until you would purge the detergent from your mouth. This toxic ingestion was only rewarded by the number of "likes" and digital adoration."
