Darker panels absorb light while the turquoise and green passages let it through, so the surface flickers between depth and brightness, like sunlight breaking through a dense canopy.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eAs a pair, the two Spires set up a conversation. They share a palette and a structure but differ in their details, and seen together they read like two trees in a grove or two columns of a gateway.
