Beyel likes her work to be ambiguous, puzzling. She enjoys the conundrum that you’ll never know the artist’s motivation. You can decide how to view the work – from afar, close up or you can go straight to the title, and see it in the round. Beyel hopes that there’s a degree of openness in relation to interpretation or self-recognition.
