Chris is a master sculptor who has spent the last thirty years honing his skills. His style and wry sense of humor are in the heritage of artists like Gerald Scarfe, Fluck and Law of Spitting Image, and Robert Crumb.
For Chris Towle, caricature and surrealism are his main passions. “I wanted to create a sculpture of one of my heroes, David Bowie.” He says. “This piece is a salute to his character, Ziggy Stardust.” The sculpture is cast in bronze without a patina, polished, and sealed with wax.
