This piece is assembled with acrylic, collage and spray paint on canvas. Although the painting is on a flat surface, artist Trew Love creates dimension by using different materials and adding an extra layer of varnish on the late musicians face to make him stand out and help transport the viewer to that moment, giving them a glimpse into the emotion and passion that Jimi felt for his music.
