Rodeo

Texas Series: “Expired” & “Rodeo” explores the ideas of regional culture, gender and religion to create a nuanced idea of what it means to be a woman in the state I grew up in and how that relates to the female identity universally. Using myself as a canvas and subject, I art directed, photographed and created paintings based off my original photographed images.
