ABOUT THE ARTWORK
“Disintegrated” captures the fragile tension between emergence and dissolution, where the figure hovers between becoming and vanishing. Built through layered brushstrokes, torn canvas fragments, and handmade resin pieces, the body appears like a fading memory—part dream, part echo. A palette of earthy reds, sunlit yellows, deep purples, and stormy grays breathes life into the surface, conjuring a powerful dance between vulnerability and resilience.
At the center of the composition, a woman’s form materializes through fractured textures and sculpted resin elements applied directly to the wood panel. The resin, carefully shaped by hand, forms parts of her face and body, adding an almost sculptural presence to the ephemeral figure. Each tear in the canvas and every molded contour becomes a metaphor for the layers of experience, memory, and transformation embedded in her being.
“Disintegrated” stands as a lyrical meditation on identity, memory, and perseverance. Rooted in contemporary abstraction and expressive figuration, this piece resonates with collectors seeking emotional depth, dimensional texture, and richly human narratives in modern art.
