Yves BRIGHT

Yves Bright is a Los Angeles-based photographer specializing in editorial, commercial, lifestyle, and fine art imagery.  His work has been commissioned and published in a wide range of print and digital formats for an extensive roster of clients.  He has collaborated closely with art directors and publicists on behalf of  their clients, including designers, skincare/cosmetic brands, actors, models, authors, athletes, and musicians to create images that compliments their brand. Spending a great deal of time in front of the camera as an actor and model, Yves first took an interest in working behind the lens while acting in a feature film in Puerto Rico.  

Captivated by the beauty of Puerto Rico, he began photo journaling the experience, both on set and in all the areas surrounding their movie shoot.  He found deep passion capturing moments which evoke emotion, telling stories through his photography.  It was then and there that his career as a professional photographer began.  

Yves currently shoots exclusively with Sony products, including camera bodies and an arsenal of Sony G-Master lenses.  Yves begins most every day at 5am, heading to the ocean for a sunrise surf.  He is an ardent believer in the positive effects of the ocean.  These moments of meditative tranquility by/on the ocean encourage introspection and trigger a psychological state of calm and contentment, all highly beneficial, if not essential, to his art.
